A quick look at recent adventures…
JUST WRAPPED TWO BOOKS – first ones for Penguin Random House and Blackstone!
THE AMAZING BEEF SQUAD by Jason Ross, an Emmy-Winning writer for The Daily Show! Meet the Beef Squad: a group of unforgettable kids who are serious about pranks but also about doing whatever it takes to help the people and places they care about. A few more firsts: I recorded at a local sound studio (U2 and Blink-182 had been there!), worked with a director on this book, and dove into the YA (Young Adult) genre—it was so much fun!
THE WORLD TURNED UPSIDE DOWN by Tim Grove. A dramatic, gripping history of the Siege of Yorktown, the last major battle of the American Revolution, told through vastly different perspectives.
CURRENTLY NARRATING: A nonfiction book on psilocybin for North Atlantic Books (a second title for PRH).
UP NEXT – more with PRH and Blackstone: Narrating a second American history book and a multi-cast title from a popular Indonesian writer (first time it’s translated into English).
NOW AVAILABLE: DIGITAL LEGACY: TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR DIGITAL AFTERLIFE. Ever wonder what happens to your digital life when you die? Well, you’re not alone. It’s become a global issue as we’ve lived so much of our lives connected to the internet – each of us roughly 6 hours and 42 minutes per day on average – during the past 25 years. The authors have made the audiobook FREE on both Apple and Google Plus (click above for more info/links).
And outside of the booth…

I celebrated a birthday this month—me and Abe Lincoln on February 12th!
It was a very enjoyable weekend, including a massage with some HOT stones, a great Italian meal (with homemade pasta), a beautiful afternoon at Del Mar dog beach (Paz approved!), and a homemade triple chocolate cake SENT IN THE MAIL. Yes, it worked…and it was delicious – saved a few slices in the freezer for a rainy day. 😉
Lots to be thankful for and plenty to keep me out of trouble, work-wise.
I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to and any other comments you have – leave a note below!
More ahead! Be well and keep in touch!
