A quick look at recent adventures…
Upcoming Projects

for Penguin Random House: an oral history of a famous prison with a multicast of narrators. I’ll be serving as your guide through it all!
for Aethon Books: part 2 of The Accidental Summoning (part 1 to be released in all formats this December!)
Recently Narrated

for Scribe media: A business book for innovators at large consumer packaged goods (CPG) organizations.
for Pro Audio Voices: OVERLAND Before the Hippie Trail – I narrated the journal entries of husband Mick, documenting this couple’s adventures around the world in the 1960s.
Just Released
for Fireside Audio: TELL HER by Chris Patchell (Book 2 in the Lacey James series) – co-narrated with Cass Medcalf
When Officer Lacey James is called to the scene of a brutal murder, she doesn’t recognize the victim. Jonathan Jones—JJ is new to Sweet Home. Everyone Lacey talks to in the close-knit community claims he was a good guy, but someone is lying. Someone wanted JJ dead. And someone else knows why.
Publishing Spotlight: Books to Big Screen

I recently connected with Keri Rae Barnum, who not only runs a book publishing and marketing company but also has created a course to help you turn your book into a TV series or movie!
As her and Dr. Rob share: Books to Big Screen is the official e-course that not only teaches published authors the step-by-step process for how to turn their book into a major Hollywood television series or feature film, but also helps connect them to the insiders to do it.
(I receive no compensation for recommending.)
Celebrating a Mentor
As I shared on social media, I’m very proud to have called Gregory Itzin a friend, teacher, and mentor. Definitely miss him. Grateful I got to see so much of his work in-person.
Enjoyed bringing him into a recent audiobook. Definitely calling on his love of vowels, consonants, emotions, sound, and spirit!
Outside of the booth
- Quick visit back to San Diego to pick up a Star Award recognizing volunteers in the arts! I’ve been on the Board of the San Diego Shakespeare Society, serving in multiple positions. As I said at the event, it’s been 4 gamesome years. There’s your Shakespeare #WordOfTheDay!
- Dinner at MAS in Ashland, OR—named recently by the New York Times as one of the 50 best restaurants in America
- We bought a house in Yreka, CA—more to come, but it’s been quite an adventure. It closed the Friday before Thanksgiving and now we have plenty to work on, including 30 acres with views of Mt. Shasta! So yeah, this is life now. 😀

I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to and any other comments you have – leave a note below!
