The tl;dr highlights…
- I recorded three different projects over the past month, including my 51st audiobook, Billion or Bust! (mentioned below). All total, it’s about 21 hours of audio. From business to spiritual to edge-of-your-seat history, it was a fascinating array of material.
- There are at least FOUR more audiobooks that are complete and should hopefully be out soon, in addition to what I list below.
- In an effort to keep learning, keep training, keep improving, I had a fantastic coaching session recently with award-winning narrator Joel Leslie Froomkin.
- I also received my first award (an Earphones Award as part of the RIKERS team), which also was my first mention in AudioFile Magazine!

Wrapping Up

LOST AT SEA by John Wukovits (for Penguin Audio). The forgotten story of American war hero Eddie Rickenbacker’s crash landing in the Pacific during World War II, and his incredible twenty-three-day crusade to keep his crew alive. It’s such an amazing story, I can’t wait for more to hear about this!
BILLION OR BUST! by Lanham Napier with Becca Braun. As president and then CEO of cloud provider Rackspace, Lanham Napier grew the company from $5 million to over $1 billion in revenues and $5 billion in market value while creating thousands of jobs.

Pretty good ratings and sales, FPO is filled with just the right amount of brainstorming prompts, both challenging you to engage readers emotionally and propelling your novel toward completion!
And despite all the good stuff, it also has the honor of my *worst* review! 😂
Good to stay humble on the heels of my first award. 😉
Outside of the booth…
Yes, the snow kept coming out here! It’s really amazing how the entire landscape around one’s house can change after snowfall. Seems like we’re in some kind of magical winter forest. We also adventured back to McCloud Falls and snow-shoed out to the Middle and Upper Falls. Paz loved it all!
