Audio Ventures: BIG change edition + 4 new releases and 11 audio-versaries!

Yikes, another big gap between updates!

Well, I feel like I have a bit more of a reason this time… and I won’t bury the lede: we welcomed our first baby to the family!

Our son was born at the end of August.

So I don’t know if my update frequency will get any better with my new schedule and the little guy, but my goal is every 2 months. (I’m the working stay-at-home dad – with some helpers!)

A couple pre- and post-arrival photos below, and then onto the audio news!

Days before the baby in beautiful Mt. Shasta!
Getting into the swing of it, at only 10 days old.

A quick look at recent adventures…

A few great audiobooks recently released…

  • Strange Timing – Alexander Strange has an unusual guardian angel — she’s the one who needs protection.
  • The Arcane Veterinarian – he dreamed of being a veterinarian; he never imagined it would happen on a new world. (Currently recording Book #2!)
  • The Shopify Story – the origin of one of Canada’s largest publicly traded companies, all about starting and growing businesses.
  • The Mansion – the second installment of murder and mystery in small town, Northern CA – written by a local author, a retired judge!

Just Wrapped – will be out March 2025!

Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs by Annie Rains (Book 2.5 of The Sweetwater Springs series)

-Romance, will be co-narrated-

If Lacy Shaw could have one wish, it’s that the past would stay in the past. And with her high school reunion coming up, she has no intention of reliving the worst four years of her life. Especially when all she has to show for the last decade is how the shy bookworm blossomed into…the shy town librarian. Ditching the event seems the best option until a blistering hot alternative roars into Lacy’s life. Perhaps riding into the reunion on the back of Paris Montgomery’s motorcycle will show her classmates how much she really has changed.

Revisiting 5 years later!

A couple of early projects (both by Jed Jurchenko) – both in my first 10 audiobooks! These books pre-date my site here, so you can click the covers to learn more about the projects directly on Audible.

Revisiting 1 year later!

Lots of books celebrating their audio-anniversary! Check out samples by clicking the covers.

Outside of the booth…

Made time for a couple trips before we hunkered down into full baby-prep mode: to Nashville to visit family, and then a trip to Yosemite with family! Plus a bit more hiking around Siskiyou County, CA.

my brother Jamie and his son on the Vanderbilt campus
with my brother Jamie, our high school friend Johnnie (who works for the Park system) and Uncle Ken!
Hiking up 2000′ with Paz!
Panther Meadows at Mt. Shasta right before baby!

I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to and any other comments you have – leave a note below!

More ahead! Be well and keep in touch!
