My grandfather’s novel “Icy Cape” – audiobook now available
My grandfather self-published this novel in 1980, based on his own experiences in 1961 in Alaska. He passed away 25 years ago and I’ve been thrilled to bring his book into the 21st century for the 40th anniversary re-issue!
Audio Ventures: books finished, phone banking, cops, and the machine stops!
Another busy month! Lots of narrating (juggling four different projects), learned quite a bit at Johnny Heller’s virtual workshop!, quick weekend road trip to see family (outside and from a distance), and phone banking weekly to battleground states ahead of the November election! Talked to lots of great people in spots like TX, CO, OH, FL, and NV!

This past month has been mostly filled with narrating, which is great! I recently joked with another narrator that not only do you learn the craft, you then have to learn how to *do* the work every day. Time management and endurance are key!

And here we are in September already! In addition to everything else, I’ve continued to work with Shannon Parks on fiction narration, and I also produced an online Shakespeare workshop with veteran and rookie actors! No moss growing over here.
